Native Wildflowers from Australia - The Land Down Under

Thank You to these Business's and Organisations for supporting 'The Land Down Under'

Thank You Very Much to UBC Web Design www.ubcwebdesign.com.au for making 'The Land Down Under' website and for the sponsorship of the hosting - Thank You Very Much.

Thank You to Ashley from Birds Australia www.birdsaustralia.com.au for his time in helping me identify some of the birds in the gallery, I appreciate your time and expertise.

Thank You also to my uncle - Malcolm (Macca) Carnes for drawing the terrific pictures of our wildlife for the Kids to colour on their own travels in 'The Land Down Under'. As always, wonderful drawings, Thank You Very Much.

I would also like to Thank the following businesses and organisations that gave me permission to use their logo's. I know to use someone's logo can be a big ask and I Thank You for the use.

Thank You to Vicki from Curtis Brown Literary Agents www.curtisbrown.com.au for the permission to use the Poetry of Dorothea Mackellar - 'My Country' and 'Dawn'.

Thank You also to my husband for giving me my first 'real' camera. A DSLR and for following wildlife up and down roads, across paddocks etc, just so that I could get a chance to take a photo of birds and animals.

Thank You to my children - William, Jenny and Ashley - for being patient with me while I run mad with my camera. I always travel with my camera and at times I could be suddenly running back up the road to photograph something, they even ring me now to let me know if there is an animal or bird around so that I can take a photo!  - Thanks Kids.

Last but not least, a Huge Thank You to Mum and Dad for giving me the 'Travel Bug', the appreciation of Australia, it's distances, it's challenges, it's harshness, it's beauty, it's wonders and of course, it's wildlife and for my first camera - a Kodak Brownie with the old 110 film (they don't even make that anymore!)

I hope you all enjoy browsing my site and again, Thank You.
