Creswick Floods Again

January 13, 2011 - The Day before the Main Flood

While just about every state and territory in Australia is being hit with flooding, here in Creswick, we are also bracing for another flood. This afternoon, the Creswick creek began to break it's banks again for the second time in 4 months.

Many business's and homes have had an army of wonderful people working tirelessly, sand bagging to try and protect them from the rising flood waters. Some roads were closed due to the flood waters and at least this time, many people had some time to try and prepare for the flood waters should they arrive again.
Just before dark tonight - Creswick is bracing itself for about another 70 mls of rain.
